Lutheran Colportage sign
This building is located on Chicago Avenue about one mile south of the Metrodome. I do not know if there is a Minneapolis business with this name or if this is just a sign left over from another time.
I grew up in the Twin Cities, and this was a Christian bookstore and tract repository. As of 2008 it was still open--on my last visit home I stopped in and bought some tracts and a Swedish language New Testament. Don't know if it's still in business, but it would be a shame if it weren't--the people there were very helpful.
